"Our mission with LoveMeToo is to create a space where human connection is accessible and meaningful, especially for those who too often live invisible experiences. In Italy alone, millions of people live with varied disabilities. Many are underserved, excluded or seen differently. But they aren't just numbers; they're human lives with hopes, desires and the need to belong. As social creatures, we want to love, befriend someone, connect and belong. With LoveMeToo, they can express themselves and be part of something bigger. Build their own world, be themselves and thrive in an often unkind world. For us, it's about creating something real and human. A space where people feel truly welcomed. And, maybe, gift them a little smile. This is what we wish for."

Gabriele Mannering

Founder & Visionary

24 years old, with Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and 2e (twice exceptional). Born in Rome, Italy and grew up in China for 16 years. Half Italian and half English. A native Italian and English speaker, and bilingual in Chinese and Spanish. His multicultural background and his drive to leave a trail blaze on the world and to make a positive impact on people's lives led him to create LoveMeToo.

Eugenio Turcan

Co-Founder & Technical Lead

26 years old, born and raised in Italy, half Italian and half Moldovan. Over time he cultivated a deep passion for computer science, driven by the belief that technology can concretely improve people's lives.

Everything you need to know about LoveMeToo

When will the app be available?

We're working to launch LoveMeToo as soon as possible. By joining the waiting list, you'll be among the first to know when the app is available.

Is the app only for people with disabilities?

No! LoveMeToo is for everyone. You can meet people with or without disabilities. Our mission is to create an inclusive space where people with disabilities are at the core of the initiative, but everyone is welcome.

When will I have to pay if I reserve Premium?

Payment will be available once the app launches and when you decide to activate it. By reserving one of the Premium plans now, you'll pay that amount forever, with no upfront payment.

What does the accessibility button do?

Currently the button enables high-contrast mode making text and buttons stand out more, text spacing increases space between letters and paragraphs, Dyslexia font making more readable font for dyslexia and more (consult "Accessibility" button). In the future, with the help of an accessibility specialist, we'll implement more options to cater to different needs.

Is my data safe?

Your privacy and security are our top priority. The processing of your data is based on: your explicit consent, execution of the service contract, our legitimate interest in improving and protecting the platform, and compliance with legal obligations. For disability-related data (special categories under Art. 9 GDPR), processing only occurs with your explicit consent. Will the app be available on iOS and Android?

Yes! At launch, LoveMeToo will be available on both the App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android.

How do you ensure my safety?

We will do everything possible to implement and provide safety measures, including: document verification, profile reporting and blocking, general platform and content moderation, a panic button for emergency situations and more. In addition, to help us maintain a safe platform, we encourage users to actively participate in self-policing as well.

Are there age limits to use the app?

Yes, for the time being to use LoveMeToo you must be at least 18 years old, to ensure the safety of all users and comply with privacy regulations. However, in the future we may consider lowering the minimum age to 16+ taking into consideration that ages below the legal age may favour interests in friendships, casual hangouts or other sections of LoveMeToo. Our goal is to cater to more people as possible within scope.
